Academically, Myers Namie graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. While in law school he clerked for former Attorney General Richard Ieyoub, and started his career as an Assistant Attorney General for former Attorney General Charles C. Foti, in the Executive Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice. Myers Namie represented the State of Louisiana in specialized constitutional litigation, and was appointed as the Attorney General’s Legislative Director. Additionally, Myers Namie served as special counsel to the Governor’s Office.
In 2007, Myers Namie was appointed as an Assistant United States Attorney by former United States Attorney Donald Washington. For over 10 years Myers Namie has successfully litigated hundreds of federal cases, and conducted numerous jury trials. He has litigation experience in many areas such as white collar crime, drug trafficking, internet crimes, cyber intrusions, immigration, environmental, firearms and corruption.
Myers Namie opened his firm in 2017 to help others. He has the knowledge, experience and skillset to assist individuals and corporations navigate the criminal justice system, protect their rights and fight for fairness and justice.
